The Grand Canal, Dublin - pastel, 17cm x 17cm
A sweet little painting with a grand name! I stood on a bridge to take this reference and the golds of the trees glowed in the sun. Looking in the other direction was very urban but this feels like a little piece of tranquil countryside in the middle of the city.
My photos have not been enhanced although please allow for monitor differences, and art so often looks even better in real life! this painting has a white frame and is 40cm x 40cm.
