Meadow Path - pastel, 29cm x 23cm

I was obsessed with a newly meadow which was planted in a grassy area near Antrim Marina. I loved watching the breeze make all the grass-heads shimmer in the sunlight. The trees in their silver green foliage were majestic around its edges. I took my pastels out several times over the summer and completed this en plein air. I learned very quickly to add insect repellent to my art kit!
